Asperger Autism
What Do You Understand About Asperger Autism?
Asperger Autism has been named after Hans Asperger who isolated a form of autism, which is now referred to as Asperger’s syndrome. In the early days of diagnosis of autism in the 1940’s little was known about the disease, and it was widely regarded that all autistic children were mentally retarded.
When studying autistics, Asperger discovered what was known colloquially at the time as the “little professor syndrome”. A small number of autistics display an advanced grasp of mathematics, music or science. Whilst their sensory perceptions were challenged mentally they could be miniature geniuses in certain fields. More young boys have Asperger autism than girls.
The discovery of Asperger autism marked a period of reappraisal in the definitions of autism, experts had to accept that autistics were not mentally retarded. Rather the disease has is a neurological disorder. The value of this research is apparent today as it is still referred to as Asperger autism.
The recognition of Asperger autism, opened up new avenues to accept autistics on a different level. Asperger’s research also allowed him to prove that the disease was caused by a genetic malfunction caused by inbreeding. Often children, who were later diagnosed as being autistic, were normal at birth. This had led to anguish for generations of parents who agonized that there behavior had caused the defect.
The reason that children can develop either Asperger autism, or autism, is that it can be triggered. Loose ends of the bodies’ neurons fuse to the incorrect ends of other loose neurons. This results in at least a partial incorrect wiring system. This wiring mix-up means that it is difficult for autistics to know what they are feeling.
This makes any form of interactive conduct which the “normal “ person takes for granted as a part of everyday life extremely difficult for an autistic, even one suffering from Asperger autism. They do not laugh at the same things because they do not find it funny, they cannot show pain or fear, as they fail to recognize that they are afraid frightened or anything else. They cannot understand themselves so find it difficult to externalize their feelings.
Asperger autism means that all these things are present, but in addition they are in possession of a few bolt on goodies. When they wish to demonstrate it they can be capable of superhuman strength, though it can be demonstrated as a one-man destruction gang. They have extra intelligence, and may display extraordinary tricks of memory. They understand sequences of numbers better than any memory man.
In cases of Asperger autism, the knowledge is natural, they just know have the skills they show, to them they are not abnormal. However Asperger autism means that the person has as insatiable desire to expand their expertise, their knowledge is so natural it is soaked in and absorbed like a sponge.
